P.H. “Fourth” Coates IV of Medina is chief appraiser for the Kerr Central Appraisal District. He is past president of the Bandera County Board of Realtors and past chairman of the Texas Rural Chief Appraisers. He serves as president of the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers and is a member of the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts. Coates belongs to Hill Country Emmaus and Medina Methodist Church. He received a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University.
