Personal Information

County Judge Mike Pfeifer has lived and worked in Calhoun County nearly all his life. He graduated from Calhoun High School and attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Lynn Jennings for 37 years, and they are blessed with three children, two son-in-laws and three grandchildren.

Mike’s knowledge of the community is built upon his experiences as a self-employed farmer/rancher and a small business owner. In the early 2000s, Mike became formally involved in county business by serving on the County Jail Feasibility Committee. He was elected Calhoun County Judge in 2002, and is proud to be serving his second term.
