Billy Ray Stubblefield of Georgetown has served as the presiding judge of the Third Administrative Judicial Region since February 2010, and previously served as judge of the 26th Judicial District Court for 22 years. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Williamson County Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the United States Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is also a past judicial member of the American Probation and Parole Association and a founding and former board member of the Williamson County Crisis Center. He is a current member and past president of the Rotary Club of Georgetown, a founding board member and past president of the Georgetown Project, and a past board member of the Georgetown Palace Theatre and Wesleyan Homes. Stubblefield received a Bachelor of Arts in history and English from Southwestern University and a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law. Reappointed 10/9/2018.
