Personal Information

Anne Corn of Austin is a professor emerita of visual disabilities at Vanderbilt University. She is a founding member of the International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation, a member and past division chair of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired, and a scientific advisory board member of the National Organization for Albinism and Hypo-pigmentation. She is also a volunteer reader for the Austin Studio of the Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic of Texas. Corn received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, and a master's degree and doctorate degree in special education of visual disabilities from California State University and the Teachers College at Columbia University.
