Personal Information

Jay Winter of Lubbock is owner of Wintex Farms and a national account manager with for Sunglo Feeds. He is a board member and executive committee member of the Texas Pork Producers (TPP) and National Swine Registry, and a board member of Hampshire Swine Registry. He is superintendent of the TPP Stars Gilts Sale for the San Angelo Stock Show, assistant superintendent of the San Antonio Barrow Show, and a member of the Team Purebred Adult Advisory Board. He is also a volunteer leader of the Lubbock County 4-H Program, Livestock Association and Agriculture Committee. Winter received a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University.
