Charles Lewis Jackson of Houston has been the pastor of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for 44 years. He is a member of the Baptist Ministers Association, the Independent Baptist Ministers Association, the Texas State Chaplains Association and the Harris County Council of Organizations. A former board member of the Harris County Houston Sports Authority, Jackson currently serves on the board of the Disaster Team of the American Red Cross. He also serves as a council member of the Harris County Citizen Corporation. A graduate of the Institutional Baptist Theological Center in Houston, Jackson received a doctoral degree from Union Baptist Theological Seminary in Houston.
