Personal Information

Cavazos is an attorney, certified public accountant (CPA) in private practice and rancher. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, California State Bar, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He is also a past member of the American Institute of CPAs, past board member of the Travis County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and past board member and treasurer of the Texas Society to Prevent Blindness. Cavazos received a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas and a law degree from the William Howard Taft University Law School. Appointed Chairman 4/12/13.
