Jerry Kane of Corpus Christi is president, CEO and chairman of Sam Kane Beef Processors Inc. He is a member of the Southwest Meat Association Board of Directors, Friends of Corpus Christi Planning and Development Committee Executive Board, and University of Texas Chancellor’s Advisory Committee. He is also co-chair of the Regional Water Task Force and City of Corpus Christi Regional Water Conservation Committee, past vice chairman of the National Meat Association and Texas Water Foundation, and a member of the Corpus Christi Airport Authority. Kane received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Reappointed 6/30/09.
