The advisory commission shall conduct a study on antisemitism in the state, provide assistance to schools, and meet with appropriate representatives of public and private organizations to provide information in addition to various education duties around the state.Subject to HB 3257, the name of the Commission changed to the: Texas Holocaust, Genocide and Antisemitism Advisory Commission, and the list of Commissioners, changed September 1, 2021.
The commission is an advisory commission to the Texas Historical Commission.
