Personal Information

Ms. Nash graduated in the top 1% of her class at Wilmer-Hutchins High School. Attorney Nash received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science at the University of Houston. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.



During her legal career, Attorney Valencia Nash worked as an intern for the United States Environmental Protection Agency and worked with the City of Houston Environmental Law and Land Use Department. She was the Assistant General Counsel for the State of Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection as the lead enforcement attorney for the Bureau of Emergency Response and as the Solid Waste Enforcement attorney for the State. She then worked as In-House Counsel for a construction management company in Atlanta assisting with the City of Atlanta Wastewater Systems Improvement Program and led the environmental justice segment of the project. After returning to Dallas, Attorney Nash presently works as a solo practitioner and focuses in the areas of family law, juvenile law and child protective services cases.
