H.C. “Chuck” Cazalas of Corpus Christi is a county commissioner in Nueces County. Cazalas is a member of the Texas Association of Business, and serves on the board of the American Diabetes Association, the South Texas Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Corpus Christi Chapter of the Navy League of the U.S. and as President of the School Board of John Paul II Catholic High School. He served as a member of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and the Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He received a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
