Personal Information

Earl Broussard was appointed to the Texas Historical Commission in 2005. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Broussard is the founder of landscape architecture and planning firm TBG Partners and currently serves as chairman of the board of directors. He started the firm in 1987 after working professionally for several well-known design firms in addition to teaching at Louisiana State University and Texas A&M University. Broussard received his Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University and his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects and previously received gubernatorial appointments for positions on both the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners as well as the Texas Historical Commission. He previously served for 12 years on the West Lake Hills City Council.
