Personal Information

Ben Fry of San Benito is a pharmacist and former owner of Fry’s Prescription Pharmacy and Small Fry’s Pharmacy. He is a member of the Texas Pharmacy Association, Texas State Board of Pharmacy Task Force on Compounding, Rio Grande Valley Pharmacy Association and American Pharmacy Association. He is also past chair of the Texas Pharmacy Association Compounding Academy, a life fellow of the American College of Apothecaries and charter fellow of the International Academy of Compounding. He is also a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association, University of Houston College of Pharmacy Dean’s Advisory Council, and University of Texas Pan-American Cooperative Pharmacy Program Dean’s Advisory Council and Admissions Committee. He is vice president of the San Benito Industrial Foundation and a member of the San Benito Chamber of Commerce. Fry received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. Reappointed 1-12-2010.
