Personal Information

Walker is presiding judge of the Eighth Administrative Judicial Region, a position he has held for more than 16 years. He is also judge of the 96th District Court in Tarrant County, a position he has held for 23 years. He is a member of the Judicial Section of the State Bar of Texas and Tarrant County Association, a life member of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a charter member of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation. He is also a member and past president of the Arlington Bar Association, past chairman of the State Bar Grievance Committee for District 7-A. He is also a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and Fort Worth Rotary Club. He is a recipient of the Silver Gavel Award from the Tarrant County Bar Association in recognition of his outstanding judicial service. Walker received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from the University of Houston.
