Hoyle is an attorney for Brown McCarroll, L.L.P. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Gregg County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Hoyle is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He is a deacon at the Alpine Church of Christ in Longview and volunteers with the Pine Tree Independent School District.

A graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington, Hoyle received a law degree from the Baylor University School of Law.
