Personal Information

Brenda has served as City of Cedar Park City Manager since December 2005. Under Cedar Park’s council-manager form of government, the City Manager serves as the chief operating officer of the City. Brenda is responsible for managing the City's affairs and day-to-day operations, as well as implementing policies set by the Mayor and City Council. She is responsible for the preparation and administration the City’s annual operating and capital budgets and providing general leadership and direction for city personnel.

Brenda joined the City of Cedar Park in 1996 as the Human Resources Director and served as an Assistant City Manager from 2002-2005. Prior to joining the City of Cedar Park, she was employed by the University of Texas in their Human Resources division. Brenda holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Sam Houston State University.

Brenda and her husband, Scott, and their two children make their home in Cedar Park, where they have enjoyed being part of the community for more than a decade.
