Charlie Amato of San Antonio is co-founder and chairman of Southwest Business Corporation. He is chairman of the Texas State University System Foundation, a board member of the Alamo Trust, Inc. and Remember the Alamo Foundation, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Care Corporation Board of Directors, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital Foundation, Spurs Give, and a board member of Prosperity Bank. He is past chairman of the Texas Business Leadership Council, a past board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas – San Antonio branch, past chairman of the University of the Incarnate Word Board of Trustees, past chairman of the Advisory Council at Sam Houston State University College of Business, past chairman of the Texas Business Hall of Fame, and a past national director of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Amato received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.
