Personal Information

Kelvey Oeser is the Deputy Commissioner of Educator Support at the Texas Education Agency where she helps ensure Texas recruits, supports, and retains effective teachers and principals to serve the 5.5 million public school students in Texas. A graduate of Emory University, Kelvey began her career as a middle school English teacher in East Los Angeles. She holds a Master’s degree in secondary education from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in public affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
