Personal Information

Mayor Dunn announced he will not run for reelection in 2018.

Danny Dunn was first elected to the Temple City Council, District 1 in May, 2010. He is a real estate broker and vice president of Rodney Dunn Company, Inc., in Temple. He is a graduate of Temple High School and Baylor University.

Councilman Dunn is active in many civic organizations. He is currently a vice chair on the board of directors of the Temple Chamber of Commerce and on the Christ Episcopal Church school board. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Temple, past chair of the Temple Education Foundation and past chair of the City of Temple’s Building and Standards Commission. Councilman Dunn also served as a member of the city’s Parks and Leisure Services Advisory Board and the Strategic Investment Zone Group.
