B.S. & M.S., Civil Engineering, University of Houston

Mr. Cobb was appointed to the Board of Directors on March 31, 2010 by Houston Mayor Annise D. Parker. Mr. Cobb attended the University of Houston where he received B. S. and M. S. degrees in Civil Engineering. Mr. Cobb is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and also a Registered Public Land Surveyor.

In 1980, Mr. Cobb co-founded CobbFendley & Assoicates, Inc., a civil engineering and land survey company in Houston. Mr. Cobb is active in several professional, civic, and community organizations. He is currently a member of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board for the University of Houston and is also a member of the Engineering Dean's Leadership Board. In 1999, Mr. Cobb was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by the University of Houston's Engineering Alumni Association. Mr. Cobb has also served as President of the Houston Engineering & Scientific Society, as well as a member of the Board of Directors.
