Darlene Nobles, from Waco, Texas, owns and directs "Interpreters 2 Go,” also referred to as “Sign of the Times” D.B.A., initially a vocational program for people with disabilities, which transitioned into a sign interpreter agency in 2000. Certified as a professional interpreter in 1986, attended MCC, Fastrack Entrepreneurship at Baylor and Leadership Waco class of 98’. Darlene's expertise extends to teaching job readiness workshops and advocating for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Additionally, her extensive community involvement includes leadership roles in serving on boards and organizations like the Waco Mayor’s People with Disabilities Committee, Economic Opportunity Advancement Corporation (EOAC) which overseas Head Start programs in Central TX, EOAC Charter School Board member, Child Care Management CCMS, served on the Waco Hippodrome, former president of Lake Brazos Rotary, politically active as a state Delegate and Precinct Chair est 2000’ while creating awareness of deaf and people with disabilities by demonstrating her commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
