D. Michael “Mike” Hughes of Ingram is the former owner and operator of Broken Arrow Ranch, Inc. He is the founder, former director, and past chairman of the Board of Oceaneering International, Inc. He is former president of the Association of Diving Contractors and the Exotic Wildlife Association, former director of the National Ocean Industries Association, and former honorary chairman of Hunters for the Hungry. Hughes was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and received a civil engineering degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
