Personal Information

David Alders of Nacogdoches is president of Carrizo Creek Corporation, managing partner of Buck Bay Timber, Ltd. and manager of Caddo Farms LLC and Alders Enterprises, Ltd. He is a trustee of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics, director and audit committee chair of Citizens 1st Bank, and director of the Texas Forestry Association, the Texas Agricultural Land Trust, and the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he is director and former president of Nacogdoches County Farm Bureau, vice president of the board of Pineywoods Groundwater Conservation District, and a charter member of the Region I Regional Water Planning Group board. He is vice-chair of the board of Regents Academy of Nacogdoches and an elder at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Alders received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University.
