Personal Information

Charles “Charlie” Taylor of Palacios is retired and formerly the vice president of sales for Culp Aluminum Alloys. He is a former member of the Society of Die Cast Engineers and the American Foundry Society. Additionally, he is a commissioner of Jackson County Emergency Service District #2, member of the Bay Gun Club in Port Lavaca, chair of the finance committee for First United Methodist Church, Port Lavaca, and a director and treasurer of Cape Carancahua Property Owners Association. Taylor served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture economics from Texas A&M University.
