Jeff Mundy of Austin is a partner and owner of The Mundy Firm, where he represents ranch and land owners in conservation matters arising from pipelines and endangered species, and leads litigation related to property rights, water rights, industrial hygiene and occupational disease, and other matters related to land and natural resources. The 368 acre Mundy Marsh Bird Sanctuary on the Bolivar Peninsula near Galveston is named in his honor for his dedication to conservation in Texas as president of Houston Audubon, then as a board member of Travis Audubon, Texas Audubon, and later internationally as a board member of the World Land Trust - US. He is on the board of advisors to TEXSAR Texas Search and Rescue, he is an alumnus of the Austin Police Department Citizens’ Police Academy, and he is a current volunteer with the City of Austin Balcones Canyonlands Preserve. Mundy received a Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program from The University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
