9/23/2020: The University of Texas System Board of Regents confirmed Jay Hartzell as the 30th President of the University of Texas at Austin, effective immediately, following his term as interim president, which began in June 2020. Prior to serving as interim president, Hartzell was the 12th dean of the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
