Ed Robertson formerly an Advisor to Governor Greg Abbott in the Division of Budget, Planning and Policy which works to ensure coordination of public policy with the state’s budget and directs long-range planning for the Governor’s Office. He also served as the Governor’s designee and Chair of the Texas State Preservation Board. While employed by the City of Austin as an Aide to the City Manager, Ed was awarded a Department of Urban Administration Scholarship and the Brackenridge Scholarship of Urban Administration and later was promoted to Budget Analyst. He then accepted a position as a Budget and Performance Analyst for the Legislative Budget Board (LBB). At LBB, Ed worked closely with state agencies, as well as the House Appropriations Committee and the Senate Finance Committee. In 2001, he transitioned from LBB to his last post with the Office of the Governor.
