Deb Bolner Prost’s entrepreneurial career has spanned the advertising, marketing, and statistical data industries with emphasis on branding, consumer perceptual mapping, and satisfaction. Armed with a BS (advertising and psychology) an MBA, and an internship with J. Walter Thompson (NY), Deb held managerial positions with Ed Yardang & Associates Ad Agency, before starting Promark Research in 1982. She built that company into a successful marketing information and research firm, then sold it in 1992.
Today Prost focuses on strategic management, marketing, and research activities via her consulting firm Prost Marketing, Inc.
Deb was one of AdWeek Magazine’s Women of the Year (1984), Joske’s Achiever (1985), Mass Communication Outstanding Alumni (Texas Tech University -1985) and of UTSA Graduate School (1987). Deb was named a finalist for Small Business Leader of the Year (Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce-1987) and “40 UNDER 40” by San Antonio Magazine (1988.)
In 1991, she was named Outstanding Marketing Person of the Decade by the American Marketing Association. She was named San Antonio Public Library “Champion” in 2002. In 2011 Deb was awarded a North Chamber Small Business Leaders Award and was nominated entrepreneur of the year by National Association of Women’s Business Owners.
