Larry Phillips of Sherman is a partner at Siebman, Burg, Phillips & Smith LLP and former state representative for House District 62, where he served since 2003. Most recently as a state representative, he was chair of the Insurance Committee and a member of the Transportation Committee. He is a member of the Grayson County Bar Association, The Paul Brown Inn of Court, and the State Bar of Texas and a former member of the Wichita County Bar Association. He is the former chair of the Red River Boundary Commission and a current member, former board member, treasurer, vice president, and president of the Eastern District of Texas Bar Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Sherman Kiwanis Club and a former board member of the Grayson County Volunteer Health Clinic, Grayson County Salvation Army, Grayson County Pregnancy Care Center, and Young Life of Sherman and Wichita Falls. Phillips received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law School.
