Judge Robert Burns previously presided over Texas Criminal District Court No. 1, a felony district court in Dallas County. Judge Burns has broad legal experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, as well as his three terms of judicial service. He has earned a solid reputation as a fair, hard working judge, and he has consistently ranked at the top for the felony district court judges evaluated by the Dalla Bar Association judicial poll.
