McKnight, a graduate of Texas Wesleyan Law School in Fort Worth, has been in practice for 13 years, including time as an assistant district attorney in Wichita and Collin counties. Since leaving the role as a prosecutor, he has been in private practice to include the areas of civil litigation, business law, family law and criminal law, both as a defense attorney and special prosecutor.
