Jake Ellzey earned a degree from the United States Naval Academy in 1992. Ellzey served in the U.S. Navy. His career experience includes working as a civilian contractor, a fighter pilot with the U.S. Navy, and a commercial airline pilot. Ellzey served on the Texas Veterans Commission. He was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in 2020 and served until elected to the 6th Congressional District in July 2021.
