Personal Information

Tim Brown of McAllen is the manager and FDIC of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, McAllen, and Alamo. He was raised in Mission Texas, and graduated from Mission High School in 1995. Tim is a 1996 graduate of Dallas Institute Of Funeral Service, having received his Funeral Director and Embalmer license in 1998. Tim is active in his community having served on many boards including the Mission Boys and Girls Club, Mission Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Mission Ambulance Board, Mission Regional Medical Center Board, McAllen Mayor’s Prayer Luncheon Committee, Vanguard Academy School Board, as well as the Texas Funeral Directors Association Disaster Team. In 2012, he received the honor of Man of The Year for the City of Mission, and in 2015 the South Texas Young Funeral Director of the Year. He and his family are active members of the Door Christian Fellowship of McAllen where he serves in many areas of ministry including Home Bible Study leader.
