Personal Information

Miguel Romano of Austin is president of Ascension Texas Foundations, which includes Ascension Seton, Dell Children’s and Ascension Providence hospitals. He is a member of the Cedar Park Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees, the Austin Area Research Organization, and The University of Texas at Austin Subiendo Academy Advisory Council. He previously served as a board member of the Texas State Securities Board, Austin Chamber of Commerce, E3 Alliance, and Friends of the Children. He also participated in the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program. Romano received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from Florida State University, Master of International Business from the University of Florida, and Master in Finance from the lnstituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
