Personal Information

John Best previously served as first assistant district attorney for the 51st Judicial District in the Tom Green County District Attorney’s Office. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and president of the Tom Green County Bar Association. He is an ex-officio board member of the Children’s Advocacy Center of San Angelo, board member of the Promises for Families Foundation and a member of the Concho Valley Child Fatality Review Team and the Concho Valley Law Enforcement Lion’s Club. Best received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law.
