Personal Information

Commissioner Miller was born in De Leon, Texas, and is an avid rodeo and horseshow participant who holds nine World Championships. He is a graduate of Tarleton State University in Stephenville, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Agriculture Education. He is a lifelong farmer, rancher and small business owner. Before being elected Commissioner of Agriculture, Commissioner Miller served 6 terms in the Texas House of Representatives.
