Personal Information

Prior to joining the Fourteenth District Court of Appeals in 2013, Wise was a judge on the 334th District Court, a position to which he was appointed by Governor Perry in February of 2011. He is also a former judge on the 152nd District Court, a former partner of Fridge, Resendez and Wise LLC and has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center.[

Wise received a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
