3/27/25. Steven Snell was chosey to succeed Bill Gravell, as county judge. Snell has a long history in the education sector, currently serving as superintendent of the Liberty Hill Independent School District (ISD). He has been in that position for the past six years. Before leading Liberty Hill ISD, Snell was superintendent for Spring Hill ISD and assistant superintendent for Hutto ISD. He also served as principal of Brazoswood High School for five years.


3/11/25. Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell resigned on Tuesday morning to take a position with the Trump administration as the Region 6 advocate for the U.S. Small Business Administration's office of advocacy.
