Personal Information

Chambers County Mayors’ appointee, Stephanie Farner, joined the Board in October of 2022. With over 3 decades in the education field, Mrs. Farner has served as an Assistant Principal, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, and a classroom teacher. She is currently employed by Barbers Hill Independent School District. Stephanie’s education includes a Master of Science degree in Reading, Post-Master’s coursework in Leadership, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Stephanie is licensed by the State Board of Education and has earned the designation of National Board Certified Teacher by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She enjoys reading, traveling, and attending concerts and professional sporting events.
