Cassie Potvin is the Trauma Service Line Director at Dell Children’s Medical Center (DCMC), a level 1 pediatric trauma center in Austin, Texas. Cassie oversees all clinical care for trauma patients, including the establishment of evidence-based trauma guidelines which guide the care plans for all injured patients at DCMC. Cassie also oversees the trauma and surgical advance practice team, the trauma research, injury prevention, child abuse research and education team (CARE), as well as the level 1 surgical verification team.
